New Accomodation Options

Thursday, 14 May 2009

If you are coming to the World Masters Orienteering Championships in Lithgow, Australia this year and you havnt booked your accommodation than here are a couple of options you may want to look at.

Accommodation on a budget.

Hotel accommodation usually offers a room with use of a shared bathroom.
They are good cheap options for those who wish to save money.
The Lithgow Hotel is one of our sponsors and it has a great Bistro.
The Bistro is a popular place for dinner so if you have a large group I suggest you book. Their motto is “ Best food, best beer, best atmosphere”. For accommodation or dinner bookings please email Brett Hollyoak at thelithgow@bigpond.com or phone 0427465261.

A little more comfort and privacy

St Mounts Guest House.
In Blackheath, 25 minutes from Lithgow, towards Katoomba, is the lovely Guest House called St Mounts. All rooms have their own bathrooms and they are very nice. You can look at this accommodation on the web, www.stmounts.com.au with other options available at www.allviewescapecom.au.
Special prices have been arranged for orienteers so you will have to be quick. This is a lovely area with many restaurants close by as well as having its own called the La Trattoria.
If you are looking for somewhere to eat you must visit the La Trattoria in Blackheath or their other restaurant which is in Lithgow (same name).
I suggest you book if you have a large group.
For accommodation at St Mounts Guest House or dinner at either of the La Trattoria restaurants please contact Sandra at fawbert@lisp.com.au or phone 0414189632.
