Blue Mountains 3 Day Challenge

This three day public event will be run in conjunction with the World Masters Orienteering Championships Long Distance Qualification events and the Long Distance Final event.
The same maps will be used and competitors will start after the World Masters competitors.
This three day Blue Mountains Challenge provides those orienteer’s who are not old enough to compete in the World Masters Orienteering Championships an opportunity to compete on three quality areas two of which have not previously been used for orienteering.
- Day 1- Wednesday 14th October
- Day 2- Thursday 15th October
- Day 3- Saturday 17th October
Courses
- Hard 1 (approx 9km)
- Hard 2 (approx 7km)
- Hard 3 (approx 5km)
- Hard 4 (approx 3km)
- Moderate (approx 3-4km)
- Easy (approx 2-3km)
- Very Easy (approx 2km)
There will be a Men’s and Women’s Class for each Course.
Overall winners will be based on results from all three days.
Prizes will be presented to all overall winners at the Arena Food and Wine Festival after the World Masters Final on the Saturday.

Sydney Summer Series
Enjoy glorious Sydney Harbour and city views as you run in the Sydney street and park series.
Note that the Monday event at Kirribilli has an earlier start window to our normal 4/4.30pm one – and hopefully will capture some of those runners that had planned to travel to Lithgow that day.

(close to Milsons Point Station on the North Shore Line)

Starts from 2pm – 6.45pm (note early start for any traveling WMOC entrants)
Fees: $10 senior, $8 junior
