March of Countries

3:15pm - Countries will assemble in the lane behind the Workers Club, Lithgow

4:00pm - March will commence down Main Street to Lithgow Showground.

4:30pm – Opening Ceremony

This will take place at Lithgow Showground. Spectators will be entertained by local bands, choirs, school children in typical Australian style.

5:30pm – Aussie BBQ

Following the closing ceremony you are invited to join us for a typical Aussie BBQ in the Civic Hall adjacent to the showground. A local bush band will provide entertainment and you may participate in some Australian bush dancing.

Menu: Sausages, beef or vegetable rissoles and bacon accompanied by a variety of salads & Aussie damper. This will be followed by tea and coffee with the Australian official cake, the lamington.
